Budget Wardrobe Makeover: Emubob style
Now before you say it can't be done, we are here to show you if you can apply an upcycling mindset and utilise a teeny tiny budget you can save even the most dated and less-than-functional wardrobe.
This magical makeover is certainly proof of that!

If you're like most people, the temptation to hibernate like a short-beaked echidna during these cold winter months is incredibly tempting. But here at emubob headquarters we have conjured up the energy to tackle a project that will keep our design minds active and bring our DIY, upcycling and tea drinking skills to the fore! As we begin our winter budget wardrobe makeover, we hope to inspire you to embark on your own interior makeover - big or small!
So, first things first, let's take a look what we're dealing with.
CURRENT LAYOUT

THE CLIENT IS HAPPY WITH...
the lighting
size of the wardrobe
top shelf
the idea of re-using shelving in the middle of wardrobe
POTENTIAL CHANGES
change the flooring to prevent bad odours and staining from footwear
incorporate neutral colours in this space, possibly on the doors
MUST-HAVES
separate hanging spaces and extra shelving in the hanging area
adequate storage for shoes and scarves
BUDGET
$300 max
As you can see we have a lot to do with a limited budget! Luckily Jacqui is a fabulous designer and professional organiser and I'm poised to put my interior design qualifications to the test.
Before we show you the big reveal later this month, here's a sneak peak at the early design stages of this magical makeover...

Stay tuned for the final reveal later this month. In the meantime, good luck with your own interior makeovers!
